MacBook Air Insurance & Repair Policy

All school-issued MacBook Airs are protected by AppleCare. Please review the reporting rules, repair timelines, and financial responsibilities below.

Reporting & Repair Rules

  • 24-Hour Reporting Window: Students or parents must report any physical damage to the school within 24 hours of the incident.

  • Off-Site Repairs: All repairs take place off-site and can take up to 10 days, depending on the availability of replacement parts.

  • No Loaner Guarantee: Clark Advanced Learning Center cannot guarantee a replacement or loaner laptop while a student’s device is away for repair.

The following are examples of cosmetic damage, which is not covered by insurance. The cost of cosmetic repairs ranges from $99 - $299 (subject to change)
