School Technology Overview

Clark Advanced Learning Center uses technology to embrace the idea of a school community without walls, where learning opportunities are accessible anytime and anywhere. Technology resources help to improve teaching and learning.
 
As the Technology Coordinator at Clark Advanced Learning Center, Mr. Watson coordinates all aspects of the school's technology operations.
 
 

Student Laptops

All students are provided with a laptop computer at no cost for the duration of the school year.
 
Clark is equipped with wireless internet, which offers students access to a large variety of electronic resources. Local and wide area networks are equipped with security driven firewalls, internet filtering capacity, and virus protection.

Classroom Technology

The latest instructional technology tools are installed in every classroom. These include a one touch AV solution with streaming media, overhead LCD projector, document camera, high end video conferencing technology, and SmartBoard equipment.
 
 
 

Technology in the Curriculum

Clark faculty actively uses technology with innovative instructional practices as a powerful teaching tool to enrich learning. Taught in the context of project based thematic learning, students are offered the latest and most exciting opportunities to prepare for the future.
